Timber with its natural features gives a sense of elegance and warmth that makes it an ideal material for exposed structures. In this talk, Yasotha will share her experience in timber structural engineering design: discussing timber as a structural material, structurally expressed buildings and collaborating with architects and builders in delivering timber architecture.
Yasotha Chetty is a structural engineer who is passionate about creative engineering solutions and architecture. She seeks to create a collaborative work environment to develop integrated and innovative design solutions. Currently a Technical Director with AECOM in Kuala Lumpur, Yasotha has been involved in the structural design of several timber structures during her time in United Kingdom.
